About Tasic Pure Oils
Clean by nature. Strong by design. Tasic Pure Oils is an Australian, female-led beauty brand creating high-performance hair and skin care powered by real botanicals and true ingredient transparency. We believe everyday care should be safe, effective, and a little uplifting—without harsh formulas or empty promises.
Our story
Tasic Pure Oils began with a simple goal: make products that genuinely care for people. What started as a small-batch idea has grown into an award-recognised brand—Finalist in the Australian Small Business Champion Awards 2024 & 2025—trusted for clean ingredients, honest education, and results you can see and feel.
Our philosophy
We use real ingredients for real results, and we tell you exactly what each one does—and why your hair and skin need it. Our formulas are scalp-first and skin-kind, with a balanced pH and soothing botanicals to support a healthy barrier from roots to glow. Proudly made in Australia, our products are created for real life and real climates—sun, salt, humidity, and everything in between. We’re planet-minded, with palm-oil-free soap bars, recyclable packaging, and refill-friendly formats where possible. And we avoid the nasties: no sulphates, parabens, silicones, or unnecessary fillers. Always cruelty-free.
What we make
Our Long And Strong Hair Care System, enriched with coconut and aloe vera, is a scalp-nourishing trio that builds strength, softness, and shine for all hair types—colour-safe and humidity-aware. Exfoljenate, infused with argan and rosehip, is a gentle, luxe exfoliating treatment that smooths, brightens, and comforts without stripping. Our Palm-Oil-Free Soap Bars are Australian-made to lather richly, cleanse kindly, and respect both your skin and the planet.
What we stand for
We stand for transparency in labeling and plain-language education. We prioritise performance through clean science and purposeful actives—nothing added without a reason. We believe in accessibility, offering premium formulas without elitism. And we invest in community, listening to real people and real results that guide our innovation.
Our promise
We’ll keep formulating products that are safe, natural-leaning, and genuinely effective—so your daily routine becomes a small act of self-care you can feel good about.
What ignited the spark for you to start or buy your business?
The spark that ignited Tasic Pure Oils was born from one of the most difficult yet transformative chapters of my life.
In 2015, as a single mother rebuilding life after escaping domestic violence, I found myself searching for both healing and purpose. With limited resources but unwavering determination, I began selling skincare from organic argan and rosehip. What started as a means of survival soon became a mission to help others rediscover their strength through self-care.
That humble beginning grew into Tasic Pure Oils, a brand built on resilience, honesty, and transformation. I wanted to prove that clean, effective, and ethical beauty could be both accessible and meaningful. Every product developed—from our first product Exfoljenate, to the flagship Long and Strong Hair Care System to our palm-oil-free soaps and vitamin-rich skincare—was created with purpose: to nourish, protect, and empower.
My journey became my “why.” I wanted to show women—especially those overcoming hardship and those brave enough to leave a toxic relationship—that it’s possible to rebuild, to create something beautiful from pain, and to stand proud as an independent business owner. The brand’s commitment to ingredient transparency, eco-conscious packaging, and education reflects that same authenticity. Each bottle tells a story of renewal, bravery, courage and self-worth.
The early customers who supported me didn’t just buy a product; they believed in a story. From local Australian market to international reorders from customers in Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, the USA, and the Philippines, their loyalty reaffirmed that my mission resonated far beyond my own circumstances.
When a quality product delivers real results, customers are happy to ship across the globe — no matter the cost, no matter the distance. It creates lasting relationships and is worth shipping across seas—because when products truly work, borders don’t matter.
Being recognised as a finalist in the 2024 and 2025 Australian Small Business Champion Awards has been a powerful validation—not just of my business growth, but of the purpose behind it. It reminds me that entrepreneurship is not only about profit; it’s about creating impact, giving hope, and proving that small beginnings can lead to extraordinary outcomes.
What ignited Tasic Pure Oils was more than a spark—it was a personal rebirth. My business is not just my livelihood; it’s a symbol of resilience, empowerment, and the belief that healing can begin with something as simple—and as powerful—as a bottle of pure, honest care.
What were some challenges that you faced during your entrepreneurial journey? How did you overcome these difficulties?
Building Tasic Pure Oils has been both the most challenging and the most rewarding chapter of my life. When I started in 2015, I had no investors, no team, and no formal business background—just determination, faith, and a deep need to rebuild life for myself and my child after escaping domestic violence. My greatest challenge was learning how to transform that personal struggle into a purposeful business that could stand on its own.
Financial limitations were the first major hurdle. Starting with minimal resources meant every bottle, label, and ingredient purchase was a risk. I learned to reinvest every sale back into the business, growing slowly but steadily. By prioritising product quality over profit, I built trust that led to loyal repeat customers—many of whom still purchase today.
Managing everything alone was another obstacle. From product formulation and packaging to marketing and customer service, I handled every role myself. It required long hours, constant learning, and immense discipline. I overcame this by treating every challenge as an opportunity to upskill—teaching myself branding, e-commerce, and digital marketing through research, workshops, and experience.
Another challenge was earning credibility in an industry dominated by large, well-funded beauty brands. Competing as a small, female-founded business meant finding a unique voice. I focused on transparency, honesty, and education—clearly communicating every ingredient’s purpose and maintaining authenticity in every product story. That genuine approach resonated deeply with customers and set Tasic Pure Oils apart from mass-market competitors.
Sustainability also brought challenges, particularly sourcing eco-friendly materials in small quantities. I overcame this by building relationships with ethical Australian suppliers who shared my values, allowing me to create beautiful, recyclable, bamboo-capped packaging that represents both quality and conscience.
Through every setback, I relied on resilience, consistency, and purpose. Each challenge became a building block that shaped not just my business—but also my identity as a stronger, more capable woman.
Today, being recognised as a 2024 and 2025 Australian Small Business Champion Awards finalist is proof that with passion, integrity, and persistence, even the most difficult beginnings can lead to remarkable success.
What were some of the biggest breakthroughs and successes which you have achieved in your business, community, industry and career?
One of the biggest breakthroughs in my journey with Tasic Pure Oils has been transforming a deeply personal story of survival into a thriving, purpose-driven Australian brand that now reaches customers across the world. What began in 2015 with one handmade product—the Exfoljenate Glow Pack—has evolved into a full range of palm-oil-free, eco-conscious hair and skincare products trusted for their purity and performance.
A defining success was the creation of our Long and Strong Hair Care System, made with pure aloe vera pulp and coconut oil. This range gained loyal repeat customers not only across Australia but also in the USA, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines, proving that authenticity and quality can transcend borders. Despite being a one-woman business, I built global trust through transparency, education, and consistent product excellence.
In the community, one of my proudest accomplishments has been using Tasic Pure Oils as a platform to advocate for women’s empowerment and resilience. I openly share my story of overcoming domestic violence to inspire others, particularly single mothers, to rebuild with courage and purpose. Through mentorship and collaboration with other female-led businesses, I’ve helped promote ethical entrepreneurship and inclusivity within the small business space.
Within the industry, my breakthrough has been proving that sustainability and profitability can coexist. From recyclable packaging and bamboo caps to clean, traceable formulations, Tasic Pure Oils stands as an example of responsible Australian beauty.
Career-wise, being recognised as a finalist in both the 2024 and 2025 Australian Small Business Champion Awards has been an incredible milestone—affirming that hard work, integrity, and purpose can build a brand that inspires, empowers, and contributes meaningfully to the Australian economy.
Every success reminds me that Tasic Pure Oils is more than a business—it’s proof that from small beginnings and strong values, a lasting impact can grow.
What are the key values that have impacted you as a leading small businesswoman?
As a small businesswoman, my journey with Tasic Pure Oils has been shaped by values that go far beyond commerce. The most defining have been resilience, integrity, authenticity, compassion, and purpose—each one guiding every decision I make and every product I create.
Resilience is at the heart of my story. I founded Tasic Pure Oils after escaping domestic violence, determined to rebuild life from the ground up. That experience taught me that challenges are not barriers but opportunities to grow stronger. Every setback became fuel for innovation and self-belief, shaping a brand that stands for strength and transformation.
Integrity has guided my business from day one. Every formulation, supplier choice, and customer promise is built on honesty and transparency. I believe in telling customers exactly what’s in each product and why it matters—because true success is rooted in trust.
Authenticity has been my greatest differentiator. I don’t chase trends; I focus on real results, ethical sourcing, and genuine connection. By sharing my own journey, I’ve built a brand that people relate to on a personal level—a brand that represents courage and empowerment as much as it represents beauty.
Compassion drives my purpose. I understand what it means to start over, so I’m passionate about supporting other women, especially single mothers and survivors, to believe in their own potential. Through storytelling, mentorship, and advocacy, I use my platform to uplift others.
Finally, purpose gives meaning to every part of my work. Tasic Pure Oils is not just about selling products—it’s about creating change. Clean beauty, sustainability, and empowerment are not trends for me; they’re my way of giving back to the community and environment that helped me rebuild.
These values have not only defined my leadership but have also become the foundation of a business that stands for courage, care, and conscience—proving that even a one-woman brand can make a powerful impact.
How has social responsibility or community initiatives within your small business helped to improve culture, care, cohesiveness or values?
At Tasic Pure Oils, social responsibility is not a separate initiative — it’s the foundation of our culture and purpose. As a female-led, one-woman business born from personal adversity, I’ve built every aspect of the brand to reflect compassion, inclusion, and care for both people and the planet.
Our commitment to community and wellbeing began with sharing my own story of rebuilding life after domestic violence. By being open about my journey, I’ve helped inspire women who are starting over to believe that strength and success can grow from hardship. This transparency has created a culture of authenticity within the brand and among customers — one where honesty, empathy, and encouragement are celebrated as core values.
Tasic Pure Oils actively supports women through advocacy, mentorship, and collaboration with other women-led small businesses and ethical Australian suppliers. Each partnership is built on respect, empowerment, and shared purpose. I also use my platform to raise awareness about domestic violence and the importance of financial independence for women — using my business as a voice for change.
Our focus on environmental responsibility has also strengthened community trust. Every product is palm-oil-free, cruelty-free, and sustainably packaged using recyclable materials and bamboo caps. These choices demonstrate that small businesses can operate responsibly and inspire customers to make conscious decisions that benefit future generations.
Through these efforts, Tasic Pure Oils has fostered a community built on compassion, education, and empowerment — where beauty, care, and purpose meet. It has shown that even a small business run by one person can create meaningful social impact, uplift others, and represent the best of Australian small business values: integrity, inclusivity, and heart.
How have you kept the business model to be dynamic and resilient in the face of changing economic and market environments, competition, and customers' preferences?
The success and longevity of Tasic Pure Oils lie in its ability to stay dynamic, adaptable, and purpose-driven through every change in the market, economy, and customer expectations. As a one-woman business, I’ve built a model that thrives on agility, innovation, and authenticity — values that keep us relevant even amid uncertainty.
Economic shifts and supply challenges have required creativity and discipline. Rather than compromising on quality, I focused on refining efficiency — sourcing locally, managing inventory smartly, and reinvesting profits to sustain growth. I’ve remained debt-free by maintaining a lean structure and direct-to-consumer model, allowing flexibility and resilience regardless of market fluctuations.
When consumer behaviour shifted toward sustainability and transparency, Tasic Pure Oils was already there. From the start, our palm-oil-free, cruelty-free formulations and eco-conscious packaging positioned the brand ahead of emerging “clean beauty” trends. What competitors adopted later, we had already built into our DNA — and that authenticity continues to resonate strongly with customers.
Digital evolution has also shaped how we stay dynamic. I continually upgrade our e-commerce systems, integrate automated email workflows, and use real-time analytics to understand buying patterns. This allows me to tailor marketing, improve customer experience, and adapt quickly to new demands.
Listening is another cornerstone of our resilience. Through direct communication, social media feedback, and repeat-customer relationships, I stay closely connected to what people truly want. These insights guide new product development and ensure that our offerings — like the Long and Strong Hair Care System and natural skincare packs — remain both effective and relevant.
Above all, resilience comes from purpose. Tasic Pure Oils was built on perseverance and integrity, and that foundation keeps the business steady even when the market isn’t. The fact that we stand strong till this date, validates that a business led by passion and adaptability can not only withstand change — it can grow stronger because of it.
