The story of Tasic Pure Oils began in 2015 with one product I call Exfoljenate and one simple goal: to provide just a little more than the basics for my child. At the time, I had just fled a violent marriage—inundated with hardship and payables, I was determined to rebuild a life of safety, dignity, and independence.

For the duration of her long admission, I have stationed operations of Tasic Pure Oils in our hospital room. I restock from home and shipped orders at the Australia Post near the hospital. On numerous occasions, nurses and other healthcare professionals walk in on me in full makeup making content right at her hospital bedside—with dark sunglasses to hide my sad, exhausted eyes.
The now flagship product, Long And Strong Hair Care System was created at this time. It is a product born out of love and necessity to address my little girl's delicate post-operative head. An idea conceptualised within the walls of Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick from an age-old hair care recipe in my home country—we modernised this reliable blend and brought it into the international market thanks to the bounty of Australian produce.
Sales from its first year funded her sub-acute therapy. Today, she is thriving—a bright and bubbly 10-year-old in Year 4, with a full head of hair and a full life ahead of her.
In just four years, Long And Strong has become a trusted choice for natural, effective hair and scalp care. As Tasic Pure Oils grew, we expanded our range to include palm oil-free soap bars — staying true to our roots in resilience and purpose-driven self-care. Our commitment to quality and authenticity has earned us national recognition as a Finalist in the Australian Small Business Champion Awards for both 2024 and 2025 — a testament to our dedication to crafting products that genuinely make a difference.
We’re more than products and the above photo is more than just an ad—
we’re about survival, healing, and the belief that real transformation
can begin with products crafted from love and adversity.
